The Squadron staff travelled to the barran lands of Morocco on the North West coast of Africa in the last week of June to have a relaxing break from Squadron duty and sample the cuisine of the Arabian lands. The temperatures were in excess of 40.c every day but this did not stop the staff from venturing out into the unknown.

Having a few days by the poolside was much needed by the staff who have worked extremely hard over the past year on the Squadron. A few days were reserved  for 4x4 drives to the edges of the Sahara Desert and the Atlantic coast.

"Its important for staff to have a little break every now and then. We have all worked extremely hard over the past year so i booked a trip for us all to Marrakesh, deep inside Morocco and made sure that we had an excellent swimming pool and relaxation facilities! We all deserve it". Said by SGT Booty, Unit Commander.

The group visited small villages and braved the snake charmers in the markets.

"It was a fantastic experience, its nice for the staff to have fun away from the Squadron every now and then" as said by the Squadron Adjutant CI Stokes.
