athleticsAir Cadets participate in many different sports, including football, netball, hockey, rugby, swimming, cross-country and many others.

Physical Fitness is an important part of any military organisation and the ATC is no exception. We don’t expect you to be super-fit when you get to the Squadron, but it will make activities more enjoyable if you have a good standard of fitness. We will help you to build your fitness and have fun at the same time; through team sports and fitness training sessions on a regular basis.

 

There are also a huge variety of other sports participated in at Squadron and Wing levels including 5-A-Side, Table Tennis, Volleyball and many more. These tend to be played more for local pride and fun rather than being truly competitive; it does not matter if your not designed to be the next Olympic star. The opportunities are there, enjoy yourself!
